As we continue to scale, we are seeking a seasoned and commercially savvy Head of Finance to join our senior leadership team and play a key role in driving strategic decision-making and financial performance across the business.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in e-commerce, wholesale, or a product-based business.
  • Strong grasp of financial strategy, budgeting, modelling, and commercial analysis.
  • Experience leading finance teams and collaborating with non-financial stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., Xero, Sage, Netsuite, etc.).
  • Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain finance is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Head of Finance will take full ownership of the finance function, ensuring robust financial management, strategic planning, and business partnering across departments including purchasing, logistics, and warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Leadership: Shape and implement financial strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Operational Finance: Oversee day-to-day financial operations including cash flow management, AR/AP, payroll, and tax compliance.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to drive cost efficiency, improve margins, and support operational decisions.
  • Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, KPIs, and board reports.
  • Controls & Compliance: Maintain strong financial controls, ensure compliance with UK financial regulations, and lead internal audit readiness.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Systems & Processes: Evaluate and enhance financial systems, tools, and processes to support scalability and efficiency.
