Responsibilities:

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:

Levy Ireland is now a €40M revenue business and targeting strong growth over the next 3 years, with expected revenues then of €70M. We have grown organically with new contracts and initiatives and through some mergers and acquisitions activity.
To support our growth strategy, we are looking to appoint a Head of Finance to partner the Levy Ireland MD and the Levy Ireland GM’s (and support the overarching Head of Finance and CFO for Levy UK and Ireland) - to influence the commercial operations of the business.

THIS ROLE WILL HAVE FINANCE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL LEVY VENUES IN REPUBLIC OF IRELAND AND NORTHERN IRELAND INCLUDING NEW BUSINESS. THE EXISTING VENUES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  • Conference & Exhibitions: Convention Centre Dublin
  • Racing: Leopardstown, Fairyhouse and The Curragh
  • International Rugby: Aviva Stadium Dublin
    Hybrid and mobile working across venues, office and home will be the norm, however it is essential that this role understands the operation of the business to enable the making of informed business decisions.
    Working hours are flexible as many of our events are over weekends/evenings.

The person will link through to our teams in Levy UK&I along with local in-country resource.

  • Partner the MD and GMs to drive growth, efficiencies, and profit through the business.It will involve using the data we generate from sales and costs to analyse the business to identify opportunities and risk and help the GM’s to deliver them
  • Assess new business opportunities and review bids presented by the Chief Growth Officer to enable the business to grow successfully
  • Financial reporting and control
  • Systems development and integration

To excel in this role you will bring a proven track record of success in senior finance roles within the hospitality sector. You will be an innovative thinker, capable of balancing strategic priorities with operational excellence.
