ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Controller with experience in analysis, coaching business managers on all levels and driving hands-on operational excellence. Experience within mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and tender processes is meriting.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our company’s strategic growth initiatives through financial analysis, reporting, and processes improvements. The candidate will also be involved in all activities related to partnerships, M&A activities and tender submissions. This position requires a deep understanding of financial processes, data analytics and systems as well as financial modeling, and the implementation of best practices in project management. As the position has personnel responsibility, people management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Run period end closing processes together with accounting functions and group controlling colleagues including analysis and action/improvement planning.
  • Run budget/planning processes.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to assess potential M&A opportunities and their impact on the company’s overall strategy.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the valuation and feasibility of targets.
  1. Managing billing processes
  • Oversee implementation of improved billing processes for the French market.
  • Run the unit operating the billing processes in France today comprising aprox. 25 FTEs led by a unit manager.
  1. Due Diligence:
  • Lead financial due diligence efforts by coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial, operational, and strategic information.
  1. Tender Process Management:
  • Define and oversee the tender processes, ensuring a strategic direction, efficient tender processes as well as establishing accurate pricing models.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure alignment between financial capabilities and business objectives during tender submissions.
  1. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with operations management, enabling functions and business development teams to ensure all efficiently run financial and operational processes.
  1. Project Management:
  • Lead cross-functional project teams through reporting-, development-, and/or M&A or tender processes, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to timelines.
  1. Market Analysis:
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact the French health care market.
