  • About the roleAs our Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the integrity and effectiveness of imei’s financial operations and provide senior leaders with timely, reliable financial information and commercial insight to support sound decision-making, profitability, cash flow and sustainable growth.You’ll take ownership of areas including:Leading the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
  • Managing daily cash flow and short-term cash forecasting.
  • Overseeing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and payroll.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and cash-flow reporting.
  • Leading annual budgeting, forecasting and analysis of actual performance against budget and forecast.
  • Producing clear and useful financial reporting for senior management and the Board.
  • Managing taxation, statutory reporting and financial compliance requirements.
  • Coordinating annual financial statements and supporting external accountants, advisers and auditors.
  • Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
  • Developing meaningful financial KPIs and translating financial information into practical commercial insights.
  • Supporting leaders with financial analysis, expenditure management and commercial decision-making.
  • Constructively challenging expenditure and maintaining strong financial discipline across the business.
  • Leading, coaching and developing the Finance team.
  • Driving continuous improvement across Finance processes, systems, controls and reporting.
  • Identifying opportunities to use automation, AI and emerging technologies to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy of the Finance function.
  • Building on our existing financial systems and looking for opportunities to streamline and enhance financial processes, reporting and analysis through the appropriate use of AI and automation.
