Head of Finance
Location: London
Salary: Up to £130,000 + Bonus and Benefits
Reports to the Group FD
I am exclusively partnering with a growing manufacturing company that is entering its next phase of expansion. They are seeking a Head of Finance to lead and support their finance team. In this pivotal role, the Head of Finance will oversee a team of eight part-qualified and qualified accountants, driving financial strategy, strengthening financial controls, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and insightful financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8 accountants (both part-qualified and qualified).
  • Foster a high-performance culture and support team members in their professional development.
  • Oversee workflow, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across all finance functions.
  • Provide timely and accurate management accounts, financial reports, and analysis to senior leadership.
  • Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and risk management practices.
  • Oversee statutory accounts preparation and liaise with auditors and tax advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting.
  • Partner with operational teams to enhance financial performance and cost efficiency.

Key Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience leading and managing finance teams.
  • Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge and understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS.
  • Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Experience in process improvement and systems implementation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £90,000.00-£130,000.00 per year
