Job Description We are currently looking for a dynamic Head of Finance LATAM ready to roll up the sleeves and make an immediate impact. This fully office based role reports to the Group CFO with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the CEO of Latin America. Responsibilities: Provide strategic and operational leadership for all finance-related activities across the region. Serve as a member of the Latin America Management Team, contributing to cross-functional decision-making. Oversee and manage the regional function, leading a team of up to 10 professionals across financial reporting, payroll accounting, business control, tax and accounting. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in line with global reporting schedules. Drive preparation and consolidation of financial statements and management reports for Latin American operations. Continuously refine and enhance finance related workflows and internal controls to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with global policies. Implement global finance initiatives at the regional level (e.g., cash pooling, inventory systems, ERP enhancements). Provide financial insights and strategic support to the CEO of Latin America and regional leadership team. Manage periodic budget vs. actual analysis and communicate results to management and stakeholders. Act as a finance business partner, delivering actionable analysis to support operational and strategic objectives. Ensure all financial operations are conducted in accordance with corporate policies and relevant accounting standards. Negotiate and discuss billing related matters with clients. Qualifications Progressive finance experience, ideally within multinational or matrix organizations. Proven leadership experience in managing finance teams within small to mid-sized operations (10–15 staff). Strong technical foundation in finance principles; with working knowledge of business performance metrics. Demonstrated ability to oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting processes. Experience with statutory reporting requirements, tax compliance, and working with external auditors. Prior involvement in executive or senior leadership teams, with the ability to contribute strategically across functions. Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis. Practical and operational knowledge of local GAAP and Tax legislation as well as IFRS and Transfer Pricing. Effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Results-oriented, with a hands-on leadership style, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines. Entrepreneurial mindset with a positive attitude toward innovation and process improvement. Proficiency in ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision or similar platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable. Readiness to work on-site in our office and to travel as necessary to support the Finance team and general business needs in the different countries in the region.
