Our client is a private equity-backed digital technology company. Post acquisition, the business is entering a new phase, requiring the establishment of independent structures, processes, and governance.

To support this transition, we are seeking a hands-on Head of Finance / Kaufmännischer Leiter (m/f/d) who will play a central role in shaping the company's future operating model.

The OpportunityThis is not a traditional finance role. The role requires a highly operational finance leader who is comfortable working hands-on while driving a complex business separation and organizational development agenda.

• Key responsibilities include:Leading all finance, accounting, controlling, treasury, and reporting activities
• Supporting and executing the carve-out from the former organization
• Building and optimizing stand-alone finance processes, systems, and governance structures
• Acting as a key business partner to management and shareholders
• Driving transparency, performance management, budgeting, and forecasting
• Supporting organizational and process transformation initiatives
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure a successful transition

We are looking for a pragmatic finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Requirements include:Experience within the digital business models
• Exposure to carve-out, integration, transformation, or stand-alone situations is highly desirable

• Fluent German and English skills
