PE Global is currently recruiting for a Head of Finance to join a Government Agency based in Dublin City Centre.

REQUIREMENTS:

• You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA)
• You will have a minimum of 15 years’ experience working within a similar finance role
• Experience working in the Financial Services sector is a significant advantage but not essential.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Experience working on digital transformation projects.
• An ability to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks. This includes implementing internal controls.
• Excellent report writing, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate and influence internal and external stakeholders at a senior level, including an ability to convey complex financial and data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make a strong contribution to the Executive Management Team in relation to strategy and day to day operations.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the Finance team to achieve performance targets and professional development.
• Building enhanced relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive a strong financial control culture and ensure a robust accounting framework across end-to-end financial processes.Oversee the production of accurate financial and budgeting reports e.g., the annual/interim financial statements, monthly finance reports, budgets, and forecasting.
• Lead the Treasury management policies and operations
• Business Partnering, building key relationships cross functionally and with key stakeholders
• Lead the digital transformation growth within the organisation
• Oversee year end audit
