Munich | PE-Backed Healthcare | Buy & Build | M&A & Exit PreparationThe BusinessWe are partnering with one of Germany’s leading PE-backed, multi-site groups, which has grown significantly through an ambitious buy-and-build strategy.

The business combines strong regional operating companies with a central holding structure in Munich. With continued M&A planned and an eventual exit on the horizon, the group is now further professionalising its finance organisation.

The OpportunityThis is a key holding-level role with responsibility for Group Accounting & Consolidation across the entire organisation.You will oversee the accounting and consolidation structures across approximately 140 locations, with around 50 accounting professionals across the wider group feeding into the function.

The mandate goes well beyond traditional accounting. You will work closely with the CFO, CEO and COO, support an active acquisition strategy, integrate newly acquired businesses and play an important role in preparing the organisation for a future exit.

• Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of Group Accounting & Consolidation across a complex multi-entity structure
• Coordinate and lead approximately 50 accounting professionals across the wider group
• Own and professionalise the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation and reporting processes
• Further develop LucaNet and the wider group consolidation and reporting landscape
• Establish consistent group-wide accounting, reporting and closing standards
• Support M&A transactions, including financial due diligence and finance-related transaction workstreams
• Lead the financial integration of newly acquired businesses, bringing them into established accounting, controlling and reporting structures
• Take responsibility for the preparation of annual financial statements under HGB
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, financing partners and other external stakeholders
• Support the CFO on financing and strategic finance projects
• Play a central role in exit preparation, ensuring accounting, reporting, controls and financial infrastructure are ready for a future transaction

• Your BackgroundSeveral years of experience across Group Accounting, Consolidation, FP&A or transaction-related finance
• Strong experience within a multi-entity group structure
• Solid understanding of consolidation, integrated financial planning and group reporting
• Exposure to M&A, financial due diligence and/or post-merger integration
• Experience within a PE-backed, buy-and-build or similarly fast-growing environment is highly attractive
• Experience with LucaNet and DATEV would be beneficial
• Hands-on approach, with the ability to combine detailed financial work with broader strategic projects
• Fluent German and English

Senior accounting professional with 17+ years of experience across India and the UAE, progressing from Accountant to Senior Accountant and Accounts Manager. Experienced in financial accounting, account finalisation, project accounting, project cost analysis, project-wise P&L, cash-flow and profitability reporting, alongside accounts receivable/payable, bank, supplier, subcontractor and intercompany reconciliations. Brings substantial exposure to group-company accounting, project cost analysis, group-account consolidation support, ageing analysis, audit coordination and payroll processing and profitability reporting, with a career progression from Accountant to Senior Accountant and Accounts Manager.
