YOUR SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with previous experience in a small finance team
Solid bookkeeping/transactional finance experience along with management and financial accounting
A confident business partner, who is happy with their key contacts being non-finance stakeholders
Happy to get into the detail and be in a hands on role

Responsibilities

Improve current processes and controls to ensure compliance, efficiency and accuracy for all reports
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including reviewing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expenses.
Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial data into the accounting system.
Generate regular financial reports to provide insights into the organisation’s financial health to facilitate accurate reporting to the Board of Directors.
Prepare month-end and year-end financial information for review by the Board.
Stay updated on accounting principles and industry regulations to ensure compliance.
Maintain organised and well-documented financial records for audit purposes.
Lead the annual audit process
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather relevant financial information.
Communicate effectively with team members to address inquiries and provide financial insights.
