our tasks and responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility: Control, monitoring and further development of the entire financial and accounting system (including financial accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as fixed asset accounting)
• Annual and monthly financial statements: Reliable preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB) / German Fiscal Code (AO), as well as a competent contact person for auditors, tax advisors and authorities.
• Controlling & Reporting: Further development of internal reporting, financial controlling, and the creation of meaningful KPIs and dashboards for corporate management.
• Liquidity and financial management: Active liquidity management, cash flow forecasts, and management of working capital and banking relationships, treasury.
• Planning and coordination of annual financial and business plans
• Personnel management: professional and disciplinary responsibility for the Accounting and Controlling team, currently consisting of 5 employees. Further development and shaping of the Finance department is possible.

What you bring:

• Qualification: Successfully completed studies in economics (focus on finance, controlling, accounting) or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified accountant)
• Professional experience: Several years (at least 5 years) of relevant professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a comparable management position in a medium-sized company.
• Accounting security: Sound knowledge of national commercial law (HGB) and the tax code
• IT affinity: Confident use of Datev and excellent Excel skills
• Leadership skills: Proven experience in employee management, high motivation, assertiveness and empathy, cooperative and motivating leadership style
• Working style: Analytical thinking, structured and goal-oriented hands-on mentality, and strong communication skills.
