This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2300000 - Rs 3800000 (ie INR 23-38 LPA) Min Experience: 15 years Location: Thane JobType: full-time We are looking for a seasoned and strategic finance leader to head the Finance function within a fast-growing pharmaceutical or manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for shaping financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enabling business growth through robust financial planning, analysis, and governance. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end Finance & Accounts function, including accounting, taxation, audits, and compliance Drive financial planning processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy aligned with business goals Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, MIS preparation, and month-end closures Manage P&L, cash flow, and working capital to optimize financial performance Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory bodies Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making Oversee direct and indirect taxation, ensuring full statutory compliance Identify and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and cost optimization strategies Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team Key Requirements Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Inter 15+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts Proven experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry Strong expertise in financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, and forecasting Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems Deep understanding of compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements Demonstrated experience in team leadership and stakeholder management Strong analytical mindset with strategic thinking capabilities Preferred Profile Stable career progression with reputable organizations Experience managing end-to-end finance operations Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing business environment Skills Financial Strategy & Planning Accounting & Compliance Budgeting & Forecasting MIS & Financial Reporting ERP Systems (SAP) Audit & Risk Management Team Leadership
