We are supporting a search for a Head of Financial Control- Netherlands to lead finance activities for a well-established financial services organization in the Netherlands.

This role will take ownership of local accounting, reporting, and compliance, while acting as a key business partner to both local and international stakeholders.

The position offers broad exposure across finance operations, governance, and strategic initiatives within a dynamic, global environment.

Key responsibilities of the Head of Financial Control- Netherlands:

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple Dutch entities

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records

• Manage month-end, year-end, and statutory reporting processes

• Maintain compliance with local regulatory, tax, and audit requirements

• Strengthen internal controls and address potential risks

• Collaborate with shared service teams and external advisors

• Support business decisions through financial insights and analysis

• Contribute to finance transformation and strategic projects

Profile:

• Qualified Accountant with solid experience in mid to large organizations

• Strong understanding of accounting standards, controls, and risk management

• Proven ability to work across international teams and manage stakeholders

• Experience overseeing outsourced or offshore finance activities is beneficial

• Familiarity with Dutch regulatory environment and local GAAP

• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills would be a strong advantage

• Experience with SAP

This is a broad and hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone looking to combine operational responsibility with strategic involvement.
