HTC is a privately owned group which began in 1970 under the Vales Group of companies in Watford, Herts. They were one of the first dealers to take on a DAF franchise in the UK. The company was acquired by Ballyvesey Holdings in 2007, a privately owned group established in 1970 whose main activities are in road transport, trailer manufacturing, vehicle and construction equipment sales and supportive services to the road transport industry.
This role is responsible for leading the Fleet Sales function across all HTC sites, with a primary base at Heathrow. The position focuses on developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to acquire new fleet clients while also managing and expanding existing accounts. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a customer-first mindset, and a proven track record of meeting sales and profitability goals.

Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of the Fleet Sales Department, ensuring performance is aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the Fleet Sales Team with clearly defined KPIs and performance expectations.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aimed at growing fleet sales and achieving set targets.
  • Recruit, train, and develop new team members to support the department’s growth.
  • Elevate the team’s skills and product knowledge by promoting participation in Manufacturer training programs and coordinating on-site training sessions as needed.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key existing clients, ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction.
  • Implement regular client review meetings to maintain strong account engagement.
  • Ensure contracts are accurately executed and delivered on schedule.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to optimise profitability while maintaining client value.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor movements to support informed decision-making
