Description

We are looking for a Head of F&B/Industrial within the Pest Division that can give strategic leadership to 2 District Managers, 37 Field Biologists and 6 Key Account Managers focussing on the F&B, Pharmaceutical manufacturing and Food Distribution sector in the UK and Ireland. It is a unique opportunity to drive a fast-growing part of the business whilst managing a sales and operations team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors’ degree OR equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO – SALES :

  • Manage, retain and grow a large customer portfolio
  • Drive contract sales growth both organically and through new business opportunities within this sector with strategic focus on large/diamond prospects
  • Drive non-contract Specialist sales within the manufacturing sector developing new treatments to solve complex pest problems
  • Manage 6 x Key Account Managers who will focus in this sector. Develop talent become future leaders within the business
  • Build a talent pipeline of future Key Account Managers and Biologists within the business

WHAT YOU WILL DO – BIOLOGISTS

  • Manage a 2 x District Managers who in turn manage a team of 37 Field Biologists across the UK and Ireland.
  • Deliver the Biologist Team’s financial and operational goals; manage a significant P&L statement; communicate expectations for performance within the defined area of responsibility; assure execution on overall regional and divisional objectives and consistently stress safe working behaviours and business protocols
  • Spend a significant amount of your time in the field with associates, key customers, and sales partners to attain mutual objectives and provide solutions to customer and stakeholder requests
  • Drive quality across the business through ways of working, software and app development and talent development
  • Monitor and maintain standards for regulatory and licensing compliance in the pest industry and implementation of division and corporate policies and practices within the Biologist Team
