We are seeking a highly experienced Head of FP&A and Controlling to join our Surface Solutions finance team. The Surface Solutions Business Unit, a mid-sized multinational leader in the pigments industry, is subject to a planned divestment to the company Global New Materials International (GNMI), headquartered in China, as of August 1st 2025. This role will be part of the divestment.
Surface Solutions is planned to become a standalone business under GNMI ownership. In this context, a fully-fledged, dedicated Finance function for Surface Solutions needs to be build-up. The Head of FP&A and Controlling will play a critical role in leading and managing the entire FP&A and Controlling team for over 15 legal entities across more than 10 countries, including three global manufacturing sites in a diverse ERP landscape.
This senior role requires a strong FP&A and Controlling experience in a mid-sized or smaller industrial company, and a hands-on mentality, with a proven track record in leading and developing respective teams. You will manage and lead the Global FP&A and Controlling processes and team, develop and manage budgets, forecasts and financial models to support business initiatives, analyse financial performance and participate in business unit strategy development and execution. Additionally you will finetune roles and responsibilities & processes between manufacturing and business controllers and other finance functions to ensure seamless execution of forecasting, planning, and reporting and analysis activities post-carve-out.
