Description

DHL Group is seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to fill the role of Head of Global BPO & HRS Standards. This position is integral to the development and implementation of globally standardized HR processes, ensuring alignment with our corporate objectives and values. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing a comprehensive HR Services “Target Operating Model” and establishing a robust continuous improvement framework within the global HR Services organization.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HR management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing global HR processes.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing HR service delivery models and process optimization strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of HR automation and digitalization tools, with experience in project management methodologies.
  • In-depth understanding of compliance requirements related to HR processes and policies, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and influence senior stakeholders across diverse functions and geographies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the conception, implementation, and management of global standardized HR processes and guidelines across more than 30 countries, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive the transition to standardized HR processes through the implementation of a detailed HR service catalogue, ensuring consistency and compliance with legal and corporate standards.
  • Establish and govern a continuous improvement mindset within the global HR Services organization, identifying optimization opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder feedback, and leading international projects to implement these improvements.
  • Spearhead automation and digitalization efforts to enhance operational efficiency, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices to introduce innovative solutions that streamline HR processes.
  • Design and oversee audit and quality control processes to ensure compliance with internal guidelines, external regulations, and industry standards, while identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary corrective actions.
  • Define and establish Operating Level Agreements (OLAs) for service provision, ensuring service quality, response times, and accountability within the HR Services framework.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including HR and IT departments, senior management, and service providers, to align HR processes with business needs and drive the successful implementation of HR initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a global team of HR professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, performance excellence, and continuous learning. Implement performance improvement plans and professional development initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
  • Organize and conduct regular review meetings with countries and business units to facilitate continuous process improvement, sharing best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
  • Champion change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during the implementation of new processes and technologies, addressing resistance and fostering a culture of adaptability within the HR Services organization.
