The Digital & Process Performance function is organized into key teams to drive transformation effectively. Processes & Applications focuses on modernizing core business processes, while Data & Analytics enables data-driven decision-making. IT Operations ensures reliable and secure IT infrastructure, and the Transformation Management Office drives Huhtamaki wide business transformation initiatives with strategic goals.
We are now looking for a Head of Global Business Platforms to join our team of Process & Applications, Global Business Platforms. This role is located in Espoo, Finland and it reports to the VP, Processes & Applications.

Responsibilities and key activities:

  • Maintain and develop the global platform strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Own and manage support delivery models (e.g. ticketing) and related tools, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
  • Oversee release management processes, ensuring timely and successful deployment of platform updates
  • Develop and maintain partnerships strategies for global platforms (excluding ERP), fostering strong relationships with key partners
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and optimization of business platforms
  • Lead and mentor the global business platforms team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements for the role:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in IT, Business, or related fields
  • Min. 8 years of experience in managing business platforms, with a focus on developing and maintaining platform strategies
  • Proven ability to manage support delivery models and oversee release management processes
  • Previous experience in Oracle, Epicor and Salesforce as well as Integration platforms is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of partnership strategies and relationship management
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to align platform strategies with business objectives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Fluency in English
