Head of Global IT Transformation & Program Management (m/w/d)

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the management of global transformation programs and projects in the context of digitalization
• Building a strong team of 2-3 project managers
• Close collaboration with Business Relationship Management and the CIO Office
• Definition of overarching project governance based on business requirements
• Analysis and definition of business and technical requirements based on complex implementation contracts
• Creation of project scope, project plan and resource planning for large-scale initiatives
• End-to-end management of large projects (kick-off to go-live including implementation, upgrade, rollout and hypercare)
• Management of project teams across all project phases and central point of contact
• Ensuring compliance with time, quality and budget targets, as well as organizing complex framework conditions
• Program and project portfolio management of parallel initiatives as well as reporting to management bodies including decision-making documents.

Your profile

• Completed studies in business informatics, business administration or comparable qualification
• More than 10 years of expertise as a project manager, transition manager or program manager in SAP and non-SAP environments
• Solid experience in the digitization and optimization of business processes as well as the management of large projects (teams > 50 employees, durations > 18 months, budgets > €10 million)
• Proven leadership experience in complex project structures
• Certifications in common project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, or similar)
• Experience in sales and multi-project management for a demanding environment
• Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and persuasiveness
• Excellent German skills (at least C1 level) and good English skills, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility in international project contexts
