Job Description Rotork is embarking on a major transformation of its global planning and materials management capability—and we’re looking for a visionary leader to drive it. This is a rare opportunity to architect and embed a world‑class Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) framework across a truly global manufacturing and service network. If you are passionate about building planning excellence, shaping global standards, and elevating materials management maturity across regions, this role places you at the centre of Rotork’s operational evolution. As the Global Materials Manager, you will lead Rotork’s global Supply Chain Centre of Excellence for materials management. Your primary mission is to design, implement, and embed a unified SOP and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) framework that drives stability, transparency, and performance across all manufacturing sites and sales/service entities. Responsibilities of the role Lead the global design, implementation, and governance of Rotork’s SOP and MPS processes. Integrate demand, supply, capacity, inventory strategy, and materials execution into a unified planning framework. Establish global standards, tools, KPIs, and methodologies for planning and inventory management. Build global capability through training, playbooks, and competency development. Drive planning system enablement (D365 / DDMRP) to support modelling, MPS execution, and inventory control. Lead the global Centre of Excellence for SOP, MPS, and Inventory Management. Act as Business Process Owner for ERP planning processes. Experience Requirements Extensive experience in manufacturing materials management and Lean methodology. Proven multi‑site, multi‑regional leadership experience. Strong SOP, MPS, and inventory management expertise. ERP subject matter expertise (D365 preferred).
