Position Summary The Quality Senior director is a key member of the Operations leadership team and is responsible for defining, leading, and executing the company’s global quality strategy across all manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering environments. The role drives a culture of quality, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, ensuring that VPG delivers products that meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction. The Quality Senior Director will oversee all QA and QC activities across multiple sites, set global policies and methodologies, and partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Product Management, and Customer Quality teams. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and lead the global Quality Assurance strategy aligned with operational and corporate goals. Serve as the senior quality leader reporting to the COO, participating in cross‑company decision‑making and leadership forums. Establish a proactive, data‑driven quality culture across all sites. Define global QA KPIs and dashboards; ensure ongoing visibility and accountability across the business. Quality Systems & Compliance Lead internal and external audits; maintain certification readiness across all audited for 12 sites around the world. Develop, approve, and maintain global quality policies, procedures. Ensure appropriate CAPA systems, root‑cause investigation methodologies (5Why, FMEA, etc.) are in place and supervise the FA/8D reporting Product, Process & Supplier Quality Oversee product quality performance from NPI to mass production, approve qualification programs in accordance with relevant product/regulatory requirements. Support and guide investigations into major quality issues, customer complaints, field returns, and product reliability trends. Ensure robust incoming, in‑process, and outgoing inspection processes (QC) are implemented globally. Lead supplier quality strategy and performance reviews in partnership with Supply Chain and Procurement. Requirements Master degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or related field CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) advantage 8–12 years of experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing, engineering, or high‑tech environment Deep knowledge of quality standards, methodologies, and tools (ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949, etc., Lean/Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, APQP, etc.). Experience in different regulatory requirements for products (MIL-PRF, MIL-STD, AEC-Q, EEE-INST-002, etc.) Proven leadership experience managing multi‑site or global quality functions. Demonstrated ability to partner with executives and influence across a matrixed organization. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
