An exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing Australian pharmaceutical and medicinal cannabis organisation during an important phase of expansion.

Boehunter Executive Search & Selection is seeking an experienced, commercially minded GMP manufacturing leader to oversee manufacturing operations across two Western Australian sites, including the commissioning and scale-up of a new GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Perth.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining GMP manufacturing excellence with commercial accountability. You will help scale manufacturing capability, increase productivity and commercial output, expand the product portfolio and strengthen key B2B customer relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing operations across two sites.
Support the commissioning, qualification and scale-up of the new Perth GMP facility.
Drive increased manufacturing output, SKUs, throughput and capacity utilisation.
Build relationships with key B2B customers, brand sponsors, distributors, clinic/pharmacy groups and export partners.
Align production capacity with customer demand, volume commitments and new product launches.
Drive improvements across productivity, yield, COGS and on-time delivery.
Partner with Quality and Compliance across TGA, PIC/S GMP, inspections and regulatory requirements.
Lead and develop manufacturing, engineering and warehouse teams.
Support strategic initiatives including new product introduction, automation, expansion and domestic/international growth.

About YouYou will ideally bring:Leadership experience within GMP pharmaceutical, biotech, CDMO/contract manufacturing or medicinal cannabis manufacturing.
Strong GMP manufacturing knowledge combined with commercial acumen and customer focus.
Demonstrated success improving manufacturing output, productivity, customer delivery or commercial performance.
Experience engaging significant B2B customers and commercial stakeholders.
Knowledge of PIC/S GMP and TGA manufacturing requirements, with EU GMP/ODC exposure advantageous.
Experience commissioning or scaling GMP facilities and/or managing multi-site operations.
A relevant scientific, pharmaceutical, engineering or biotechnology qualification.

Medicinal cannabis experience is highly regarded but not essential. We welcome experienced leaders from the broader pharmaceutical, biotechnology and contract manufacturing sectors.This is an opportunity to play a key role in scaling an Australian GMP manufacturing platform while directly contributing to its commercial growth and future development.
