POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the Head of Governance and Assurance, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective implementation and adherence to governance frameworks, policies, and procedures related to the delivery of all service provisions across the account. This includes risk management, compliance, quality assurance, and human resources.
The Head of Governance and Assurance will be an ambassador and role model for quality within the account management team and will be responsible for the design, strategy and delivery of the quality management systems as well as being a culture architect driving continuous improvement, right first time, collaboration and pride in what we do.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing governance, risk, or compliance at a senior level.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing governance frameworks and policies.
  • Professional certification in governance, risk management, or compliance (e.g., CGEIT, CRISC, CISM, QLA 9001) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
