As the Head of Group Accounting, you will assume responsibility for a team of four, overseeing accounting for Danish entities and driving the optimization of group accounting across currently 12 countries.

Your specific work tasks include:

• Lead, develop, and manage team members.
• Oversee and ensure quality in the accounting of Danish entities.
• Oversee and ensure quality in budgeting and reporting.
• Contribute to the quarterly consolidation and reporting process.
• Communicate with local administrators.
• Ensure VAT and payroll tax compliance in collaboration with the tax team.
• Participate in developing improved work streams.

You will become an essential part of the Finance & IT department, reporting directly to the Group Reporting Director.

EXPERIENCED FINANCIAL PROFILE WITH STRONG LEADERSHIP SKILLS

You, the ideal candidate, bring a strong theoretical foundation in financial reporting and/or audit – cand.merc.aud./HD or equivalent. With a minimum of 10 years’ experience in controlling, financial reporting, finance management, or accounting, you’ve honed your expertise. Your journey includes five years in a management role, demonstrating your leadership capability. We encourage candidates with Business Central experience, eager to contribute to shaping Nordic Solar’s financial success.
