The role Reporting into the Chief Growth Officer at Acenda, the Head of Group Distribution role is a newly created role within our Commercial business unit. As we progress the merger of the Resolution Life & Acenda business together, to create one of the largest life businesses in the market, a critical component of our future is we continue to invest and grow our Group Insurance business with renewed focus and rigour. You will be responsible for creating and driving strategic initiatives that will deliver long-term value on our Group channel. This role will lead the effort in identifying new growth opportunities, create and nuture new relationships and business prospects, and drive strategic decisions on where Acenda should choose to participate within the Group market. Partnering closely with our General Manager, Group Partnerships, you will also play a critical role in ensuring new tender activity within existing schemes is coordinated and executed efficiently. About you You are a commercially astute and experienced professional with a strong understanding of the Group Insurance landscape and ecosystem, across both corporate and superfunds. You are able to demonstrate strong knowledge of the Group industry and insurance. Experience spanning business development, tender and account management, product proposition, member experience expectations and setting up operational frameworks and processes, with a track record of driving growth and delivering value in the Group channel. As part of a small and specialised team, you possess the willingness to play a hands-on role in driving outcomes and a collaborative culture, along with a strategic mindset to identify and drive future growth opportunities.
