• You’ve got a NEBOSH Diploma, are a Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH), and ideally hold a relevant degree.
• You’ve spent 5+ years in a senior health & safety role, and you know how to speak the language of boardrooms and boots on the ground.
• Experience in social housing or a similar sector? Big plus. Understanding of M&E and compliance? Even better.
• You’re a confident communicator and influencer—people listen when you talk.
• Tech-savvy? Familiarity with Academy Housing Management systems is a bonus.

• Leading our Health & Safety strategy across the organisation.
• Driving a culture of safety through engagement, communication, and action.
• Conducting risk assessments and fire safety reviews in our communities.
• Acting as the expert advisor to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Investigating incidents and leading continuous improvement.
• Reviewing and refreshing policies in line with regulations and best practice.
• Tracking and analysing safety performance data to inform decisions.
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
