You’ll be our true expert and the advocate for change! We’re seeking someone who can combine solid pricing expertise with challenging the status quo to introduce innovation. You will also champion what pricing do around the business, and being an ambassador for Pricing excellence.
Your significant experience within pricing will be critical in delivering the financial targets using Risk Premium models from other teams, coupled with commercial awareness of the Household market. Ideally, you’ll have previous experience with the Household insurance product, however we’ll consider candidates from other backgrounds such as Home or other types of Household insurance. You’ll also have previous exposure to the development of Optimisation frameworks in an insurance setting, as well as a focus on developing people and pricing capability.
As part of the role, you’ll be collaborating with a skilled pricing team and making sure that we utilise everyone’s Talent to their maximum potential! This role is a fantastic opportunity to combine the technical expertise with top - class people management, so you’ll also have experience of managing and mentoring junior team members, as well as being a role model.

LV= General Insurance are looking for a Head of Household Pricing to join the Retail Pricing team. We’re seeking a true expert who will take the responsibility for delivering the financial targets for the Retail Household account, and oversee delivery of key strategic projects.
We are open to considering candidates based in any of our sites in London, Leeds, Bournemouth, or Birmingham, whilst recognizing that the central London office is a hub of senior stakeholders and therefore there will be an expectation the candidate has some presence in there. The role itself will be on a hybrid working contract, or full time office based.
You’ll work closely with the wider Pricing & Underwriting team to help us shape the future path of Pricing by setting out a strategy for both pricing and people development within the Retail Household team. You will also oversee the insurance risk of the business we write, prioritise projects for delivery and also manage stakeholder expectations, and engagement

The role would manage a range of teams that are responsible for the brands trading under Allianz and LV in the Direct Home market. In doing so, they would be responsible for day-to-day Trading activities, and Optimisation. In addition to Home, the position also covers pricing for Travel and Brittania Rescue.
