Position: Head of HR Organization: Blu Ev Blu EV, Orascom Investment Holdings e-mobility subsidiary, is reshaping urban transportation. Website: www.blu-ev.com Job Description: The Head of HR will be a strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for designing and executing a people strategy that aligns with Blu Ev rapid growth and mission-driven culture. You will bridge the gap between high-level corporate governance and the agile, fast-paced environment of a tech-focused startup. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement an HR strategy that supports Blu EVs strategy. Talent Acquisition & Scaling: Lead recruitment efforts for specialized roles in software engineering, automotive tech, and field operations. Organizational Design: Build a scalable structure that balances technical innovation with operational excellence in the field. Culture & Change Management: Foster an "owner-operator" mindset and a culture of sustainability, agility, and safety. Total Rewards: Design competitive compensation and benefits packages that attract top-tier tech and engineering talent in the Egyptian and regional markets. Performance & Development: Implement modern performance management systems and continuous learning paths for a diverse workforce (from engineers to field technicians). Compliance & Governance: Ensure all HR policies meet Orascom Investment Holdings standards while adhering to local labor laws and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business, HR, or related field; MBA or SHRM/CIPD certification is strongly preferred. 15+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Prior experience in tech startups, telecom, subscription management, fintech, e-commerce or automotive sectors is highly preferred. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal. Proven ability to translate business goals into people initiatives. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
