JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Head of HR, you will be part of the Senior Leadership team, overseeing all HR operations for multiple sites across the UK. You will lead a team of 7 HR Professionals, delivering positive HR solutions, supporting a high performing, engaged workforce. This role is pivotal in ensuring that HR strategies and initiatives align with business objectives while maintaining operational excellence.
The role requires national travel, with hybrid working, travel to sites 1-2 days week, with some travel to the head office in Europe every few months.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the HR team across all UK sites.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organisational goals and drive business performance.
  • Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to decision-making and organisational strategy.
  • Directly manage and support HR Business Partners and HR Advisors, ensuring their development and effective delivery of HR services at cluster and site level.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring consistency and compliance with UK employment law.
  • Lead workforce planning initiatives to ensure resource alignment with business needs.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning processes.
  • Support the development of leadership capabilities and career progression pathways within the organisation.
  • Champion initiatives to enhance employee engagement and build a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Lead organisational change initiatives, including restructures, expansions, and cultural transformations.
