Reporting to: COO / CFO Direct Reports: 3 HR Generalists, 1 Internal Communications Specialist Role Overview The Head of HR Operations at Leads.io is a senior leadership role with a strong operational focus. You will be responsible for building and running a reliable, scalable HR function across our international business, while also helping shape the company’s long-term people strategy. This role requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable switching between day-to-day execution and big-picture thinking. You’ll work closely with the COO, support managers across the business, and ensure that our people processes are both professional and practical as we continue to grow. Core Areas of ResponsibilityHR Operations & Ownership You are ultimately responsible for making sure HR runs smoothly across all countries. This includes overseeing the full employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to performance management and offboarding. You will: Ensure HR processes are consistent, efficient, and scalable across all regions (NL, UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada) Own and improve our HR systems (HiBob), focusing on data quality, automation, and reporting Oversee payroll, contracts, and compliance with local labor laws Keep a close eye on HR data and provide insights to support management and board-level decisions Lead performance management and support Learning & Development initiatives This is not a purely strategic role, you are expected to stay close to the detail and step in where needed. Business Partnering & Team Support You act as a senior HR partner for managers across the business (below MT level), helping them deal with people-related challenges in a practical and professional way. You wll: Coach and support managers on topics like performance, team dynamics, and employee challenges Help ensure consistent and fair people management across teams Oversee internal communications to keep employees informed and aligned Lead the annual engagement survey and turn results into clear, actionable improvements Strategy & Executive Collaboration Together with the COO, you will help define how the people function supports the company’s growth. You will: Develop scalable HR policies and frameworks as the company grows internationally Help shape the overall people strategy, balancing structure with flexibility Build and maintain a competitive compensation and benefits approach Advise on organizational design and team structure as we scale While you contribute at a strategic level, you remain closely involved in execution. Experience: Strong background in a senior HR role, ideally having grown from an operational role into a broader leadership position Hands-on mindset: Comfortable operating both strategically and operationally in a scaling company International experience: Familiar with multi-country HR environments, including payroll and labor law Systems & data: Experienced with HRIS platforms (preferably HiBob) and using data to drive decisions Communication: Clear, direct communicator who can work effectively with both senior leadership and operational teams What’s in it for you?
