HEAD OF HR OPERATIONS

We are currently seeking an experienced Head of HR Operations for our Client, to lead the HR Service Centre across a collection of businesses.
This role requires a seasoned HR Leader who has demonstrable leadership experience and can navigate complex employee relations issues and TUPE processes. Experience of implementing an new HR system within a mid-large scale business would be advantageous.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified or above
  • Proven experience in HR leadership roles, with a focus on leading HR operations, service centre management, employee relations, and TUPE processes in a mid-large scale organisation
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Coaching and mentoring qualification is desirable
  • Experience of working and leading a HR function in a complex/matrix organisation is desired
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation, as well as manage change
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in HRIS system
  • Ability to manage and thrive on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmen
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all HR operations activities, ensuring smooth and efficient processes are in place
  • Manage employee onboarding activities , including conducting orientations and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements such as RTW and DBS
  • Lead a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities
  • Supporting the Chief People Officer with the implementation of the People Strategy
  • Providing effective insights and reporting to the CPO and working on key strategic projects as agreed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the design and implementation of HR programs and initiatives
  • Oversee the administration of HR to payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of the employee compensation
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including open enrolment, supplier relationships, and employee enquiries
  • Oversee the maintenance and utilisation of the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and security
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, conducting investigations as necessary
  • Working collaboratively across the group
