Under the direction of the USA President the Head of HR USA is responsible for the implementation and execution of local HR strategy, policy and processes within the functional framework provided by Global HR. The Head of HR USA will ensure seamless and efficient business support, foster working culture, and enforce the group’s Code of Conduct in strong collaboration with line management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties will be assigned. Support all relevant HR processes including budgeting, succession planning, Performance Management, and Benefits Design Responsible for the use and accuracy of the HRIS (Paylocity), ensuring employee records are up to date and the system is used properly and to its full potential Recruit new talent into the organization, supporting the onboarding and integration of new employees Manage one direct report, ensuring guidance is clear and tasks are accomplished in a timely manner Manage the department budget Advise management in all HR-related matters and act as a sounding board for the leadership team Proactively support change management processes Proactively identify leadership issues and support solutions to resolve; counselling on conflict resolution; building of supporting processes Counsel on performance management issues Counsel on career development and identify training needs and recommend solutions Responsible to oversee / execute regular payroll process and all employee benefits processes Design competitive Benefit structures with support from broker team, negotiating rates and changing plan design as necessary Pull and maintain records for various audits performed throughout the year Ensure compliance with all HR practices within area of responsibility and with legislative and regulatory framework across multiple states Contribute to the business strategy Driving the People Agenda by applying broad HR skills in the areas of organization design and development Act as trusted advisor to President, leadership team and employees Meet regularly with the Global Head of HR and provide monthly reports to the Global Management Team highlighting successes and challenges from the prior month Ensure corporate values are lived and Code of Conduct is enforced Requirements Responsible for own work and required to supervise one direct report. Occasional in-market travel required Bachelor's degree in business management Minimum of 5 years' related experience and/or training Experience managing an HRIS strongly preferred Knowledge of the SAP suite (including SuccessFactors) is a plus Experience with fully self-insured medical plans preferred
