Description

We’re looking for a hands-on HR Executive to look after three of our concepts: Be Babel, Son of a Fish, and Le Relais de l'Entrecôte.

How the role works

This is a hybrid venue-and-office role, designed so you’re close to the teams you support:

  • 1 day a week at each venue (Be Babel, Son of a Fish, Entrecôte): meeting managers and staff, handling employee queries, and being the visible face of HR on the floor
  • 2 days a week at Head Office: payroll processing, documentation, reporting, and working with the wider HR team

What you’ll do

Payroll & Administration

  • Prepare monthly payroll for the three venues, including attendance, overtime, service charge/tips, deductions, and adjustments
  • Ensure WPS compliance and accurate payroll records
  • Maintain employee files, contracts, and HR systems

Onboarding & Induction

  • Manage the full onboarding process: offer letters, documentation, visa and medical coordination with PRO, and system setup
  • Deliver induction sessions for new joiners covering company policies, culture, and venue standards
  • Make sure every new employee feels welcomed and set up for success from day one

Offboarding

  • Handle resignations, terminations, and end-of-contract processes
  • Calculate final settlements and gratuity in line with UAE Labour Law
  • Coordinate visa cancellations, clearances, and exit interviews

Employee Relations & Discipline

  • Advise managers on employee relations matters
  • Manage disciplinary processes: investigations, hearings, warning letters, and documentation
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant handling of all cases

General HR Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for staff and managers at your venues
  • Track leave, probation reviews, and visa renewals
  • Support HR projects and initiatives across the group

What we’re looking for

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, ideally in hospitality, F&B, or another multi-site environment
  • Hands-on payroll experience in the UAE, including WPS and end-of-service calculations
  • Solid working knowledge of UAE Labour Law
  • Confident handling disciplinary and employee relations cases
  • Organised and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple venues and deadlines
  • Approachable and comfortable building trust with frontline teams and managers
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with an HRIS or payroll system is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field
