We are looking for a Head of Human Resources to join our team.
As Head of Human Resources, you will play an important role in building and managing a successful business with a focused, engaged, diverse, empowered workforce. Your focus will be on supporting and empowering our teams to act with integrity and drive our organisation’s success, and you will:
-

Oversee the HR function, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive HR services, via your own team and in partnership with group HR shared services

  • Support the Leaders of our Professional Education and Assessment businesses in shaping and fostering the organisational culture and values
  • Develop and implement strategies that enhance employee attraction, engagement, satisfaction, and retention
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, aligning people practices with the overall goals and objectives of Kaplan
  • Undertake Kaplan group responsibilities, working with colleagues globally on people initiatives that impact across the group, providing to you the opportunity to access materials, tools and support from other Kaplan business units.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may be currently working as a Head of Human Resources or similar, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

Responsibilities

You will be an experienced HR professional with the necessary skills to balance the needs of your various stakeholders, navigate the UK’s employment legislation, and create an environment where people can give their best and fulfil their potential.

This will include:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role focused on culture, employee engagement, people strategy and HR management
  • Strong understanding of organisational development, talent management, and change management principles
  • Knowledge of equality, diversity, equity, and inclusion practices and their impact on the workplace
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing people-related policies and programs
  • Commercial awareness with good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and ensure key deadlines are met
