Description

We are looking for a talented Head of Human Resources to work across the group. The role will manage a team of 2 people, and report to the Co-Founder MD’s.
Please note, we will only consider applications from candidates with a minimum of 3 years Head of Department HR experience in the restaurant industry in the UK.
SALARY £80 - 90k depending on experience

Responsibilities

Designate clear roles & responsibilities for your team, and facilitate their smooth and positive interaction with other departments and sites. Set exemplary standards of leadership, coaching, training and development in your team; support and equip GM’s/HOD’s with necessary tools to deal with all aspects of their people management
Put together and help implement recruitment SOP’s, guidelines and standards for operations teams to use.. Support directors with recruitment of senior roles
Develop a best-in-class onboarding and induction process of all employees, and oversee its implementation. Work with ops on creating bespoke induction programmes for senior team members
Work with operations on training and development plans for various team members. Oversee external trainers/coaches on various projects
Support operations with creating robust systems and processes for team member evaluation, development and performance management (where requited)
Support operations with managing employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances and dismissals, and fit for purpose policies and procedures
Lead more complex ER issues with a solid understanding of UK employment law, especially as it relates to hospitality (e.g. TRONC)
Ultimate responsibility for all HR documentation and compliance across the business, including regular audits and reporting
Lead on all HR platforms used across the business - support sites with training, accurate system maintenance and audit
Develop and implement a best in class employee benefits programme
Responsible for all company-wide communications, relevant organisational and people announcements, team newsletters etc
Support accurate and compliant payroll processing
Support senior directors with organisational structure development, ensuring clear lines of communication, reporting lines, ways of working etc.
Work closely with senior directors on nurturing a positive culture across the business
