• Overall responsibility for the stable and efficient global operation and further development of IT infrastructure services (Cloud & Data Center, Network & Connectivity and Workplace & Identity including Microsoft 365)
• Professional and disciplinary management of a global department of approximately 30 employees.
• Ensuring availability, performance and service quality in a global IT environment
• Ensuring and continuously improving defined service levels (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and end-to-end ownership
• Further development of an efficient and scalable operating model, taking into account nearshore and offshore models.
• Further development of a modern hybrid infrastructure (cloud & on-premise)
• Simplification and standardization of the platform, as well as increased efficiency through automation.
• Management and further development of external service providers in cooperation with the Plan&Steer division
• Responsibility for economical and efficient service provision
• Ensuring compliance with security and compliance requirements , as well as close cooperation with information security.

Our requirements:

• Above-average successful completion of studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field of study (Bachelor's, Master's or Diploma)
• Several years of management experience in IT infrastructure or IT operations, ideally in a comparable management role.
• Several years of experience in managing executives
• Solid experience in operating hybrid IT environments (on-premise and cloud)
• Very good understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS)
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft 365 environment (Collaboration, Endpoint, Identity & Access Management)
• Experience in the implementation and operation of SASE solutions
