Description

Key responsibilitiesOwn the technology roadmap: Develop and deliver a five-year plan with clear priorities, investment requirements, dependencies and measurable business outcomes.
Deliver through a lean team: Establish a proportionate technology operating model, combining internal ownership with external expertise. Hold providers accountable for service quality, cost and delivery.
Drive standardisation: Establish common technology standards and lead business systems implementation and integration across the group.
Deliver the data strategy: Improve data ownership, quality and consistency, creating reliable reporting and the foundations for automation and responsible AI adoption.
Support acquisition due diligence: Assess technology estates, cyber risks, supplier arrangements and integration requirements, identifying costs and investment needs before completion.
Lead acquisition integration: Create repeatable Day 1 and 100-day plans, integrating systems and data while minimising disruption to client work.
Maintain strong IT foundations: Oversee infrastructure, service delivery, cyber security and business continuity as the platform scales.
Build business engagement: Work directly with Finance, Operations and consultancy teams to understand requirements, improve workflows and drive adoption.
