Summary
We are looking for a “Head of Information Security (f/m/d)” for the “Information Security” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “Information Security” department plans and designs solutions to protect HENSOLDT from cyber attacks in the long term. It is also responsible for the maintenance and further development of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and is the central point of contact for all questions relating to information security. She carries out company-wide awareness measures on the topic of cyber security and advises the specialist departments on the special features relevant to cyber security.

Your Tasks

• Disciplinary management of the information security team
• Responsibility for the HENSOLDT Group’s Governance, Risk, Compliance, Awareness and Disaster Recovery service
• Continuous improvement and further development of the service
• Consistent focus of the service on increasing the information security of the HENSOLDT Group
• Efficient management of external service providers
• Continuous further development of the ISMS and ensuring the necessary certifications
• Continuous development of standards, processes and documentation to improve HENSOLDT’s information security

Your Profile

• Degree or comparable qualification in information security, cyber security, computer science or comparable, Master’s degree advantageous
• Professional experience in the defense industry advantageous
• Proven experience in providing guidance and support for the effective implementation of risk management procedures
• More than 4 years of experience in IT risk management, information security or a related field
• Familiarity with critical infrastructure regulations
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments that demonstrate an understanding of potential vulnerabilities and threats
• Proven support in the development of risk management frameworks, policies and procedures
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and understanding of its application in risk management processes
• Proficiency in preparing and producing risk-related reports for senior management
• Good German and English skills
