Role Title: Head – Innovation & Automation Function: Technology / Transformation Location: Pune,India Role Purpose: The Head of Innovation & Automation will lead Magnum’s enterprise‑wide digital innovation agenda, driving automation, AI/ML adoption, process re‑engineering, and next‑generation technology solutions that accelerate business efficiency, scalability, and customer excellence. This role will spearhead the discovery, design, and deployment of automation frameworks, ensuring measurable value creation across operations, customer experience, compliance, and technology functions. Key Responsibilities 1. Innovation Strategy & Leadership Define and lead Magnum’s innovation roadmap aligned with business strategy and long‑term transformation goals. Identify emerging technologies (AI, ML, NLP, RPA, GenAI, low‑code platforms, workflow engines) to strengthen competitive advantage. Drive a culture of innovation through idea‑harvesting, experimentation labs, and rapid prototyping models. 2. Automation & Digital Transformation Lead end‑to‑end automation initiatives across business units, including RPA, workflow redesign, smart analytics, and intelligent automation. Build and scale Automation CoE (Centre of Excellence) to ensure standardized governance, prioritization, architecture, and delivery frameworks. Oversee process discovery, value assessments, feasibility analysis, and automation‑led optimization. 3. AI, Data & Analytics Enablement Partner with data teams to design AI‑driven solutions improving forecasting, pattern recognition, fraud detection, and operational decision‑making. Implement automation‑ready data ecosystems, leveraging analytics platforms for real‑time insights. 4. Stakeholder Management & Governance Collaborate with Business Heads, Product, Operations, Finance, HR, and Technology teams to ensure seamless adoption of automation solutions. Establish KPIs and governance dashboards to track business impact, ROI, automation throughput, stability, and productivity gains. Present quarterly innovation outcomes to leadership and board-level stakeholders. 5. Delivery Excellence Manage end‑to‑end project delivery including requirement analysis, PoC development, UAT, change management, and enterprise deployment. Ensure all automation solutions comply with IT security, risk, compliance, and data governance frameworks. Oversee vendor evaluations, tool selection, contracts, and external technology partnerships. Key Skills & Competencies Technical Skills Strong understanding of automation technologies: RPA (UiPath / Automation Anywhere), workflow engines, low‑code/no‑code platforms. Experience in AI/ML models, analytics tools, OCR, NLP, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Knowledge of enterprise architecture, system integrations, APIs, microservices. Expertise in digital transformation methodologies, Lean/Six Sigma preferred. Leadership & Behavioral Skills Strategic thinking with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Ability to influence at CXO and senior leadership levels. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and program governance skills. Demonstrated capability to lead cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Business (Master’s degree preferred). 12–18+ years of experience in digital transformation, automation, innovation, or enterprise technology leadership. Proven track record of delivering automation at scale with measurable business impact. Experience leading Automation/Innovation CoEs is highly desirable.
