We’re in the middle of a technology transformation journey at MAS so we can work smarter and deliver better results. This role reports to our Chief Innovation and Digital Officer and plays a key part in supporting and improving our technology and services for MAS.
You’ll lead innovation, set strategic direction for your team, and help make our day to day operations more efficient. Your work will drive continuous improvement and keep us ahead of the tech curve.

What your day might look like

  • Be a key member of our technology leadership team, making sure what we do aligns with our strategy and values.
  • Lead a team of 4 direct and 9 indirect reports, building a positive and high performing team culture, while making sure the business gets top quality IT support.
  • Be the go-to-person for IT operations helping the wider business get excited and onboard with our tech transformation.
  • Review and improve how we do things every day to make our operations simpler and more effective.
  • Lead our continued maturity in Microsoft Azure, managing budgets, automating processes, and helping shift from old systems to more modern solutions.Keep our legacy systems running smoothly and securely while developing plans to decommission them.

What we’re looking for

  • Solid experience leading IT operations or service desk teams, especially if you’ve introduced new technologies or integrated systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Windows environments and Dynamics 365. Bonus if you know ITIL, Agile and DevOps.
  • Good knowledge of IT governance compliance and risk management.
  • A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing technology teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, especially with data systems integration.
  • Great communication and influencing skills - you’ll work collaboratively with people across all areas of the business.
  • You’re adaptable, decisive, and confident in your choices.
  • You’re practical and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.
