What You’ll Do Act as the primary interface between Destinus and defense customers for all ILS and in-service support matters across the system life cycle Translate military operational needs into ILS strategies covering documentation, training, maintenance concepts, spares, support equipment, and sustainment Lead customer onboarding, system acceptance, and entry into service from an ILS perspective Oversee in-service support activities including technical assistance, incident management, upgrades, and obsolescence management Ensure alignment between engineering, production, and support to enable long-term operability and cost-effective sustainment Capture operational feedback and lessons learned to drive continuous product and support improvements What You’ll Need 15–20 years of experience in defense environments, ILS, sustainment, or military service Strong understanding of defense industry structures, military operations, and long-term support concepts Proven experience working with armed forces, ministries of defense, or prime defense contractors Solid knowledge of system life cycles, in-service support, and sustainment frameworks Ability to operate confidently across technical, operational, and senior stakeholder levels Willingness to undertake substantial international travel Fluency in English and Dutch, additional languages are a strong plus Who You Are You are trusted, structured, and credible with defense stakeholders, able to think beyond delivery and focus on decades of operational service. You understand how systems are sustained, upgraded, and supported in real military environments.
