Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
At least 15 years of trade management or related experience with a global liner
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Lead PIL Intra Asia Services, including Mariana Express Lines and Malaysia Shipping Corporation to set and achieve goals
Train, guide and motivate team to develop them professionally and to meet business and organisational objectives
Review, develop and implement strategy to ensure optimum financial performance of Intra Asia Services, including maximizing utilization of vessels to achieve targeted lifting, volume and revenue.
Lead and work with stakeholders to facilitate and execute integration of carrier owned container & shipper owned container portfolio
Enhance existing services to optimize vessel deployment & deploy ad-hoc loaders to reduce vessel idling time.
Maintain relationship with existing service partners & develop new partners for potential future cooperation.
Review and work with team to achieve ongoing greater and more effective process/work flow
Attend to any tasks or projects as assigned by supervisor
