Description

Our client, an impact-focused investment firm is looking for a strategic and purpose-driven Head of Investor Relations to lead fundraising and investor engagement initiatives across its growing platform. This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for shaping capital raising strategy, building trusted investor relationships, and elevating the firm’s profile across the private capital and impact investing ecosystems.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, private markets, or strategic partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in managing LP relationships and securing capital commitments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate independently.
  • Familiarity with ESG and impact investing frameworks is highly preferred.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a mission-driven and cross-functional environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Drive capital raising across new and existing private equity/venture capital funds.
  • Create and maintain compelling fundraising materials, pitch decks, and virtual data rooms.
  • Identify and nurture relationships with institutional investors, DFIs, family offices, and other aligned capital providers.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on fund positioning and structuring aligned with financial and impact objectives.
  • Act as the primary contact for existing and prospective LPs.
  • Manage all investor communications, including regular updates, investor reports, and quarterly/annual meetings.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes and respond promptly to investor queries and data requests.
  • Develop strategic relationships with co-investors, accelerators, corporates, and ecosystem enablers.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance the firm’s deal flow and visibility.
  • Represent the firm in industry conferences, panels, and working groups to amplify thought leadership.
  • Lead the firm’s investor-facing and public communications strategies, including PR and media outreach.
  • Work closely with marketing to refine brand positioning, produce newsletters, and develop thought leadership content.
  • Strengthen the firm’s reputation as a regional leader in impact investing.
