Head of Issuer Acquisition – RealPort.io
Location: Remote (Global; preference for North America/EU time zones)

RealPort.io is building a next-generation platform for real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, designed to bring liquidity, transparency, and efficiency to traditionally illiquid asset classes. Our platform will support real estate, litigation finance, mining, municipal debt, private credit, and beyond—unlocking capital flows across multiple sectors.
We are preparing to go public on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) in late 2025 and anticipate our first institutional raise in December. This is a unique opportunity to join at an inflection point, helping to shape a company on the cusp of rapid growth.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of Issuer Acquisition to spearhead our engagement with asset sponsors and issuers across diverse sectors. This individual will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and onboarding high-quality issuers onto RealPort’s platform while acting as a trusted partner in their tokenization journey.
The role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution—building relationships with asset owners, guiding them through tokenization models, and ensuring successful offerings from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issuer Strategy: Develop and execute a multi-sector acquisition strategy targeting real estate developers, litigation finance groups, mining operators, municipalities, and private credit funds.
  • Capital Raise Expertise: Advise issuers on structuring offerings that attract investors, balancing compliance, liquidity, and yield.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and manage relationships with C-level executives, fund managers, municipalities, and sponsors.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent RealPort.io in industry forums and position the company as a leader in RWA tokenization.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to ensure smooth onboarding and successful token launches.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Work with legal counsel to ensure all tokenization activities comply with securities regulations in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Performance Metrics: Track issuer pipeline, onboarding success rates, and revenue generation; provide regular updates to executive leadership.
  • Team Building (future scope): Recruit and manage a high-performing issuer acquisition team as the company scales.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or capital markets, with direct exposure to digital assets, fintech, or structured finance.
  • Deep understanding of RWA tokenization frameworks (securities, smart contracts, standards like ERC-3643).
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. regulatory exemptions, including Reg A+, Reg D, Reg CF, 506(b), and 506(c).
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and managing institutional relationships.
  • Demonstrated expertise in compliance and regulatory frameworks within tokenized or digital securities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications a plus.

Desired Qualifications

  • Existing network in real estate, private credit, mining, litigation finance, or municipal finance.
  • Prior experience in fintech, proptech, blockchain, or capital markets innovation.
  • Familiarity with compliance-heavy industries and securities structuring.
  • Experience with platforms like Securitize, KoreConX, Tokeny, DigiShares, or similar.
