POSITION SUMMARY: HEAD OF IT & INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Employment Type: Full-Time | Travel Requirement: 15% – 25%
Salary Range: $150,000 – $200,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of IT & IS to lead our technology strategy and oversee all Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS) operations. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation initiatives, advancing enterprise systems, and introducing AI-powered solutions that enhance both operational efficiency and the customer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with our strategic business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in IT/IS leadership, with a strong background in enterprise infrastructure, retail technologies, and digital innovation.
  • Proven track record in multi-location retail IT management and omnichannel platform integration.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin highly preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-wide digital transformations and integrating advanced technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT governance, budgeting, system architecture, and risk management.
  • Extensive experience with POS systems, ERP platforms, CRM, and WMS solutions.
  • Proficiency in cloud computing, IT infrastructure design, and emerging retail technologies like AI and IoT.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Skilled in vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Develop and lead a future-focused IT and IS strategy that supports business goals and promotes technological innovation across all departments.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, automation, and analytics, to increase scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Champion the integration of AI-based technologies to improve process automation, predictive analytics, and personalized customer engagement.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire IT and IS teams, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
  • Build and maintain a secure, scalable IT infrastructure that supports corporate growth and the expansion of multi-location retail operations.
  • Oversee implementation and optimization of core systems including POS, ERP, WMS, CRM, and other retail technologies.
  • Implement cutting-edge technologies such as IoT, smart checkout, and AI-driven tools to elevate the customer shopping experience.
  • Evaluate and deploy third-party software and hardware solutions that enhance store, warehouse, and supply chain performance.
  • Strengthen IT service delivery, ensuring uptime, system reliability, and responsive tech support across both in-store and e-commerce platforms.
  • Enhance ITSM practices for improved incident response, maintenance strategies, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Enforce cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including PCI DSS, CCPA, and GDPR.
  • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure system resilience and operational stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance—to align IT initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee partnerships to ensure cost-effective and high-performance technology solutions.
