Responsibilities

As the Head of IT Operations, you will lead critical operational teams, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of technology services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Service Desk, and Application Support teams, ensuring each delivers high-quality, timely services.
  • Performance Management: Drive a high-performance culture through rigorous performance management, coaching, mentoring, and formal performance reviews. Swiftly address underperformance, ensuring continuous team improvement.
  • Technology and Operational Excellence: Develop and execute robust IT operational strategies aligned with organisational objectives, continuously enhancing processes, responsiveness, and agility.
  • Cyber Security Governance: Maintain oversight and accountability for cybersecurity operations, infrastructure stability, disaster recovery, and incident response.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure high internal customer satisfaction by establishing and monitoring SLAs, managing escalations, and proactively engaging stakeholders across the business.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Efficiently manage the IT Operations budget, maximising value from investments and ensuring effective resource allocation.
