Description
Simpaisa is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Key Accounts to manage and grow relationships with Simpaisa's most important merchants, partners, and enterprise clients. The role focuses on account growth, retention, revenue optimization, and long-term partnerships within the fintech ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Own and manage Simpaisa's key and strategic accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and revenue growth. Develop and execute key account strategies aligned with business and revenue objectives. Act as the primary point of contact for high-value merchants, enterprise clients, and partners. Drive account expansion through upselling, cross-selling, and onboarding of new solutions. Work closely with internal teams (Product, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Tech) to deliver seamless client experience. Monitor account performance, KPIs, transaction volumes, and revenue metrics. Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract renewals. Identify risks and proactively resolve client issues to ensure retention and satisfaction. Provide market and customer insights to senior management to support product and strategy decisions. Lead and mentor the Key Accounts / Relationship Management team. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred). 6-8 years of experience in key account management, partnerships, or enterprise sales, preferably in fintech, payments, telecom, or banking. Strong understanding of digital payments, merchant acquiring, and fintech products. Proven experience managing large enterprise or strategic clients.
