Lead the implementation of the European sales strategy across the UK and Ireland to drive revenue, volume, and profitability for Freight Shuttle services. This role is responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the client portfolio. A strong focus is placed on understanding market trends and customer needs, and providing actionable insights to enhance both core services and ancillary offerings.

Adapt, plan, and manage the successful delivery of the pan-European sales strategy for key account customers in the UK & Ireland to meet agreed business objectives and annual budgets.
- Recommend annual sales forecasts and budgets (revenue, yield, and volume), and ensure their effective implementation following approval.
- Propose, plan, and coordinate customer site visits to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage credit risks in line with company policy, with a focus on minimizing bad debt exposure.
- Monitor sales performance regularly and make strategic recommendations to address underperformance or capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
- Ensure full compliance with all Eurotunnel procedures, including account setup, credit risk management, pricing and contract agreements, expense claims, and competitor engagement protocols.
- Drive growth by expanding sales of ancillary services and group company products in response to customer needs and market demand.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience; a background in Economics or Logistics is advantageous.
- Extensive experience in account management, with a strong track record of managing strategic customer relationships and delivering commercial results.
- Demonstrated success as the lead negotiator in high-value sales with major corporate clients.
- Familiarity with the transport, logistics, or haulage industry is highly beneficial, though not essential.
- Proven ability to represent the company confidently and professionally at senior levels, both internally and externally.
- Experience overseeing invoicing processes, managing credit risk, and following up on outstanding payments in line with company policies.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and guide others across teams and functions.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency or good comprehension in French is a plus.
