ABOUT US

UCL’s Finance function has 5 Directorates: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting, Treasury and Long-term Investments, and Finance Operations. Together they are responsible for the management of UCL’s financial performance and strategy and for providing assurance to our council and University Management Committee on UCL’s financial position.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This senior leadership role leads the Management Accounting team which is a large team and which provides management accounting services across all academic faculties and professional service divisions at UCL.
This job is fundamental in supporting finance to provide an excellent service to the University. You’ll be required to give first class leadership and support to the team and support and advise stakeholders to the highest level. You’ll also have the opportunity to drive significant change to streamline processes and improve the accuracy of data, supporting the wider finance team in providing better analysis, insight and support to the business.

This is a Grade 10 position and as such offers a salary of £87,000 to £95,000. There is the possibility of more for an exceptional candidate. The position also comes with a generous annual leave allowance, an excellent pension, and some attractive benefits.
