Description
1. Manages the Manufacturing Engineering functions (Programming, Process and Continuous Improvements). 2. Proposes strategy that will be essential in supporting corporate goals and company annual plan. 3. Assists in annual budget preparation and implementation of cost-effective measures to reduce operating expenditures, improve workforce efficiency, improve manufacturing yield and other related overhead costs. 4. Drives the team for continuous improvement efforts and systemic actions to improve our manufacturing quality, efficiency, cycle time and cost through Lean manufacturing, SPC & Six Sigma methodology. 5. Engages and coaches the team to achieve manufacturing requirements. 6. Manages standardization and enhancement of processes. 7. Accountable for the process of manufacturing new products at Cohu PH coming from NPI sites and ensure proper release to Manufacturing. 8. Collaborates with Design Engineering on the manufacturability of the parts and improvements to efficiently manufacture the products. 9. Administers the company’s Quality policy according to corporate standards. 10. Other duties as required
